Description of Job
|
Introduction to the role:
As our internship programs in Asia continue to
impress our participants, university partners, and government education
authorities, CRCC Asia’s Director of Program Operations is looking for
several committed and motivated young professional to support our team in
Tokyo during our largest summer program by providing the hundreds of
participants an incredible experience in Japan. Full training will be
provided to bring you up to speed on our processes and goals.
The role combines:
- Research and general
management support
- Partnership
nurturing with current and future suppliers in the Tokyo area
- Program coordination
including direct contact with participants on the CRCC Asia Tokyo program
Tasks and
responsibilities:
- Work with the
Program manager to develop a calendar of cultural, business and community
outreach events
- Work with the
Program manager to provide pastoral care to all participants during their
program
- Work with the
Program manager to ensure that the finer points of the program (housing,
visas, etc.) are fully set-up
The position offers
a unique professional opportunity providing insight and skill development
related to a variety of fields including higher education, international
education, career development, international relations, travel and tourism.

Requirements:
- Organization skills

- English fluency
(near native or native), ability to also speak Japanese is preferred
- Experience(s) abroad
(studies, internship, work)
- Currently in Japan
and in possession of a student visa valid until the end of August 2019.
